Chongqing V2G mountain city path and its business loop

Chongqing led pilot cities by opening the full V2G chain of application, metering, grid connection, settlement and invoicing, issuing China's first V2G settlement invoice in June 2025 and a 2026.

What the first settlement invoice means

Opening application, metering, grid connection, settlement and invoicing is the last mile of the business loop. Without a settleable invoice, owner discharge revenue cannot land compliantly, and V2G stays demo forever instead of scaling. On the ground, the practical call is to first settlement invoice closes the loop, because that single step prevents most later disputes.

The subsidy retreat design is smart

Chongqing gives 100 yuan per kilowatt for AC V2G and 50 for DC and swap stations, retreating 10 percent yearly in 2027 and 2028. It leverages private capital yet avoids long reliance, fits market-driven transition better. We also stress that smart subsidy retreat rewards efficiency, since clear agreements protect both the service provider and the user.

Chongqing's one-stop, case-by-case service solves who manages after build and how revenue is counted. Dongshang New Energy and Dongdian Huichong value that second half with local patrol and round-the-clock response in Yantai. In Yantai we keep insisting on make the second half solid as the safest path through varied local conditions.

A calm judgment

Chongqing's experience is replicable, but grids and prices differ by place, so copying subsidy size may not fit. Yantai should start with orderly charging and demo sites before opening settlement and subsidies broadly. Dongshang New Energy follows these principles with routine patrols and round-the-clock response for dependable daily service.
