According to the Muping District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau in its reply to CPPCC proposal 1103029 (July 2024), the district has 219 communities with roughly 100,000 households and about 55,000 e-bikes; 119 communities have around 600 charging stations with about 9,348 ports. That is 54% community coverage and about 5.9 vehicles competing for each port. The same reply notes that since 2020, renovation compounds have added 117 stations and about 1,200 ports where space and safety allowed, all run by market operators — and that the 18 compounds scheduled for renovation in 2024 are planned for 23 more stations and about 230 ports.

Outdoor shelters are designed to the 50-year snow load of 0.4 kN/m² with steeper roof pitches, and equipment uses low-temperature-rated components and anti-freeze cabling. The port-count rule of thumb still applies — one port per 30–50 active e-bikes, with a 1.3× margin if usage concentrates in the evening.
