How Haiyang makes rainy charging a daily routine

The next phase competes not on pile count but on availability, usability and trust. Shelter, protection and patrols turn rainy charging into Haiyang's norm.

Making rainy charging a routine

From an operator's view, rainy-day charging is a reshuffle of business model and service. The usability and safety of open sites in rain test distribution protection, shelter facilities and patrol frequency - the most directly felt aspect for Haiyang residents.

Doubling plan and Haiyang's combo

The Three-Year Doubling Action Plan for EV Charging Service Capacity (2025-2027) targets 28 million charging facilities and over 300 million kW of public capacity by end-2027. Across Haiyang communities, the 'charging canopy plus shared ports' combo is the most cost-effective retrofit.

Safety before convenience, managed well

A nearby, fairly priced centralized charging point naturally reduces stairwell and fly-wire violations. An operator survives by managing well: 7x24 monitoring, a small local radius, broken piles repaired rather than left as empty shells.

Haiyang's routine shows that rain readiness becomes invisible when done well, fading into ordinary reliable charging that residents stop worrying about, which is the truest sign of a mature local network.
