Feixian: the heavy-truck charging story reaches the street
In Feixian, heavy-truck charging is moving from headlines into daily life. Along major freight corridors, high-power charging for electric heavy trucks is accelerating, with demo stations deployed at service areas to meet the replenishment needs of transit freight fleets. For Feixian, sinking chargers into markets, health centers and government halls fits real demand far better than isolated posts.
Policy sets the targets
On September 24, 2025, six departments including the NDRC and the National Energy Administration issued the Three-Year Doubling Action Plan for EV Charging Service Capacity (2025-2027) (NDRC Energy [2025] No. 1250). It targets 28 million charging facilities, over 300 million kW of public capacity and service for more than 80 million EVs by end-2027, through public upgrades, highway retrofits and rural gap-filling.
Vehicle-to-grid turns a charger from a power outlet into a storage node. When EVs charge off-peak and feed back at peak, they smooth the grid and may reward owners. New sites without two-way ability risk a forced second retrofit before long.
On the ground in Feixian
For Feixian, the team tailors plans to each site: older neighborhoods adopt unified build-operate, while new developments get high-standard pre-installed capacity, both compliant and durable. Dongdian Huichong (Dongshang New Energy) backs this with 7x24 monitoring and a local crew that fixes faults fast.
