Three roles in one system
An integrated site puts generation on the shelter roof, storage beside it, and charging underneath. Daytime generation charges storage or vehicles directly, stored energy covers the evening peak, and the charging load is scheduled around both. The attraction is straightforward: lower energy cost, less peak stress on the supply, and a genuine low-carbon story.
Three numbers have to agree
The most common failure is oversizing one component. Generation, storage capacity and charging load have to be matched to how the site is actually used, or the result is a great deal of capital producing very little benefit. A site with modest overnight demand does not need a large battery; a site with heavy daytime demand may not need one at all.

The software is the difficult part
Generation, storage and charging data have to be visible together for dispatching decisions to be sensible: when to store, when to release, when to charge. Without that integration the site is three systems sharing a fence. Our platform handles that coordination, which is the reason we treat it as the core of the design rather than an add-on.
Where it fits best
Sites with long dwell times and daytime occupancy benefit most, which is why enterprise and park sites are the usual candidates. For property companies there is a softer benefit too: a measurable sustainability feature that residents and corporate tenants both notice.
A note on expectations
Integrated sites are engineering projects with real payback periods, not shortcuts. Any payback figure we provide is a modelled reference under stated assumptions, and actual results depend on site conditions, tariff and utilisation.
